These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed via the online shop of Münzwerk Laton (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”). By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts these GTC as binding.
The products displayed in the online shop constitute a non-binding invitation to the customer to place an order, rather than a legally binding offer.
By submitting an order via the “Buy” button, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the selected goods. The purchase agreement, however, is only concluded upon the transfer of the goods to the shipping service provider.
The Provider reserves the right to cancel orders without stating a reason. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded promptly and in full. The customer will be informed of the cancellation without delay.
Product images in the online shop are provided for illustrative purposes only. Due to variations in screen settings, the appearance of the delivered items may differ from the displayed images. Every effort is made to depict the numismatic objects as accurately as possible. The images are neither retouched nor digitally altered. Where condition descriptions are provided, they are guaranteed.
The Provider assumes no liability for typographical errors, inaccuracies in product descriptions, or pricing errors. Changes in product availability are reserved.
All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
The full invoice amount is payable within three (3) days of the invoice date.
Orders with a delivery address in Switzerland or Liechtenstein qualify for free shipping if the order value exceeds CHF 100.
Payments must be made exclusively via bank transfer to the account specified by the Provider.
Shipment of the goods will only occur once the payment has been received in full.
The Provider delivers worldwide to the countries available for selection during the checkout process. If the desired destination is not available, delivery may be arranged upon prior written agreement with the Provider.
For deliveries within Switzerland, the standard delivery time is two (2) to four (4) business days from the receipt of payment. For international shipments, delivery times may vary depending on the destination, logistical processes, and customs clearance.
All shipments include a tracking number.
Risk passes to the customer upon the handover of the goods to the shipping service provider. The Provider assumes no liability for loss or damage during transport. Within Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as well as internationally, Swiss Post is typically used. Customers may also choose FedEx Express for international shipments.
The customer is required to inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. Complaints must be submitted in writing within three (3) days of receiving the goods, provided they are undamaged and in their original packaging.
The cost of returns is borne by the customer.
If no written complaint is received within the specified timeframe, the goods are deemed accepted.
Ownership of the goods remains with the Provider until full payment of the purchase price has been received.
The authenticity of all numismatic objects offered by the Provider is guaranteed.
The Provider assumes no liability for damages resulting from improper handling, misuse, or unforeseeable circumstances.
Claims for damages are excluded unless they result from intentional misconduct or gross negligence. This exclusion applies to direct and indirect damages, including lost profits. The Provider is not liable for damages arising from force majeure or unforeseeable events. Furthermore, liability for the actions of auxiliary persons is excluded under Article 101(2) of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Provider’s Privacy Policy. Customer data is treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, unless required by law.
This agreement is governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is the registered office of the Provider.
The Provider reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The version in effect at the time of the customer’s order shall apply.
Should any provision of these GTC be found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely approximates the economic intent of the invalid provision.
