Ducat 1737, Appenzell Innerrhoden, Gold (HMZ 2-35a)
The visible planchet crack is due to the striking process and is accompanied at this point by a slight wave in the metal.
Obverse: Saint Mauritius stands in armour facing right, holding a banner, with the oval coat of arms of Appenzell behind him. Below is the mint mark “T” of the engraver Jonas Thiébaud.
Reverse: The reverse bears the inscription Ducatus Reip Appenzel Lensis 1737 along with the mint mark “T”.
