Safely pack and ship collectibles.

Do you have collectibles you need to ship? Whether you are sending coins, medals, or other collectibles, careful packaging is essential to ensure safe delivery. In this guide, I will show you how you can pack your items correctly and easily to ensure a smooth shipping process.

  • If original packaging like boxes or capsules is available, please leave the coins in them and avoid repackaging them.
  • Pack coins separately to prevent them from coming into contact with each other and causing damage.
  • Avoid placing tape directly on the surface of the coin.

The surface of coins is generally more delicate than that of medals. Ideally, you should use special protective sleeves designed to prevent scratches, often specifically made for coins. A readily available alternative in any household is writing paper.

  • Writing paper has a smooth surface that protects the coin from micro-scratches.
  • This smooth texture reduces the risk of scratches that could be caused by friction.
  • MMedals can generally be wrapped in kitchen paper. The key is to ensure that the metal is not damaged by friction.

For large collections stored on pallets or in special drawers, I can arrange pick-up by appointment. Alternatively, I can provide you with special protective sleeves at no cost.
